Marketing Internship position
We are looking for two part-time team members to join our marketing/social media team. This position will be remote and begin in January and run through May. We are seeking team members that are self-starters, assertive, creative people and excited to be a part of a growing Tech and Branding Firm. In this role, you will collaborate with the founders and other team members in creating and implementing the company’s marketing strategies. This invaluable experience with direct exposure to the inner workings of the tech industry will prepare you to thrive in any fast-paced work environment.
This is a remote non-paid internship position. If you're based in the Atlanta Metro area, that's a huge plus because we'd love the opportunity to have you join occasional in-person work sessions with the team. At the end of the designated internship period, interns will receive a written letter of recommendation.

Marketing Role Responsibilities:
Outreach to PR leads via media outreach strategies and tactics
Spearheading outreach in a multilayered grassroots campaign to various community groups
Collect and analyze data from marketing campaigns
Build and execute targeted ad and email marketing campaigns
Optimize campaigns to achieve positive ROI
Manage and maintain a calendar of marketing campaigns
Perform market analysis and research on competitors
Create. execute and manage a social media calendar
Post and interact with local/nationwide relevant organizations and interest groups via social media or vis emails
Remain in the know on current events, trends, and content efforts
Develop strategies and campaigns to strengthen our online presence and brand identity in order to gain followers and increase engagement
Building new content for the ever-growing content library
Help grow and execute marketing across all social media platforms and Email marketing.
Assist in brainstorming, planning & execution of marketing for products and services.
Help create and execute marketing offers.
Maintain and update weekly plan for campaign schedules and audience segmentation.
Work with the team to update CRM and understand the analytics in order to understand the success of certain offers with certain audience segments. In addition, brainstorm ways to continue contacting segments in more relevant, personalized ways, as well as targeting new segments, with potential successful offers.
Create, maintain, and share weekly marketing reporting.
Work with brand Manager to coordinate and schedule branded/informational content communications as well as 1:1, targeted communications.
Assist in gathering all branded copy and assets to provide to Leadership Team within 10-day lead time, for setup, QA and deployment
Help QA email communications for both brand-related and 1:1 emails.
Requirements:
Availability of 12-15 hours per week, between 9 am – 7 pm EST or 10am-8pm CST
Self Starter, Ability to work independently and with a team, Resourcefulness
Ability to use Social media and create compelling, innovative, on-brand content that makes people excited to like, comment, and share
Possess a “strategy mindset” around community engagement
MailChimp, Canva, FB, Linkedin, Youtube & Instagram experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail, organized and able to meet deadlines
Ability to gain insights and propose improvements
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Google Workspace Apps
