Sales Internship position
We are looking for a part-time team members to join our sales team for Fall 2022. This position will be remote and begin in September and run through December. We are seeking a team member that is a self-starter, assertive and excited to be a part of a growing Tech and Branding Firm. In this role, you will collaborate with the founders and other team members in creating and implementing the company’s sales strategies. This invaluable experience with direct exposure to the inner workings of the tech industry will prepare you to thrive in any fast-paced work environment.
This is a remote non-paid internship position with potential to earn commission; if you're based in Atlanta, that's a huge plus because we'd love the opportunity to have you join occasional work sessions with the team. At the end of the internship, all Interns will receive a written letter of recommendation at the end of the designated internship period.
responsible for working with the partnerships team to create meaningful relationships with luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. This entails prospecting relevant brands, preparing sellers for important client meetings and helping create value-driving marketing programs for brand partners.
Your Responsibilities:
You will report to EYX’s Head of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development and work closely with the Brand Partnerships Assistant.
Prepare sellers for client meetings by providing brand insights.
Join sales calls led by the EYX Sales team.
Prospect like-minded brands
Update sales materials with relevant data points
Create turnkey marketing proposals on Canva/Google Slides/Keynote
Update proactive proposals
Assist Marketing Director on additional materials
Marketing Role Responsibilities:
Outreach to PR leads via media outreach strategies and tactics
Spearheading outreach in a multilayered grassroots campaign to various community groups
Collect and analyze data from marketing campaigns
Build and execute targeted ad and email marketing campaigns
Optimize campaigns to achieve positive ROI
Manage and maintain a calendar of marketing campaigns
Perform market analysis and research on competitors
Create. execute and manage a social media calendar
Post and interact with local/nationwide relevant organizations and interest groups via social media or vis emails
Remain in the know on current events, trends, and content efforts
Develop strategies and campaigns to strengthen our online presence and brand identity in order to gain followers and increase engagement
Building new content for the ever-growing content library
Requirements:
Availability of 15 hours per week, between 9 am – 5 pm EST or 9am-5pm CST
Self Starter, Ability to work independently and with a team, Resourcefulness
Ability to use Social media and create compelling, innovative, on-brand content that makes people excited to like, comment, and share
Possess a “strategy mindset” around community engagement
MailChimp, Canva, FB, Linkedin, Youtube & Instagram experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail, organized and able to meet deadlines
Ability to gain insights and propose improvements
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Google Workspace Apps
You are a rising sophomore or junior, preferably attending college in NYC/New York Metro Area.
You are studying Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Canva, Keynote and Powerpoint.
You have a strong interest in Fashion, Sales and Marketing.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
You are a detail-oriented go-getter with clear follow up skills.
You can commit 20+ hours per week.
